Senior Expert (m/f/d) Salesforce and CRM

We are looking for an experienced Customer Relationship Management (CRM) expert (m/f/d) to act as a conceptual global Sales process owner and Salesforce system owner.


In this role, as part of the Corporate Strategy and M&A department, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and continuous improvement of our global CRM processes and systems. The main objective is to define effective CRM methodologies and implement them in the CRM systems to better manage our customer relationships, better identify and select our business opportunities and efficiently manage our overall sales. .

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the structure of the sales process and our CRM system Salesforce
  • Developing and continuously improving the functions of the CRM system Salesforce according to the current business requirements as well as ensuring its ongoing operation 
  • Developing and updating guidelines as well as creating and maintaining documentation and training materials
  • Optimising the process for identifying and assessing business opportunities, including setting thresholds and release matrix in collaboration with the Project Risk Management team
  • Registration of master service agreements, collection of information on client accounts and documentation of business development activities
  • Monitoring data quality and developing and implementing measures to continuously improve data quality
  • Developing and applying methods to analyse the success of our business development activities and to support decision-making 
  • Prepare and provide regular reports and standardised overviews on for management
  • Planning and implementation of training & user administration and support
  • Licence and consultant management

Show your expertise

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in sales or related sales departments in a globally operating company
  • Successfully completed studies in the field of economics, business administration or comparable qualification
  • Sound experience and very good knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM systems (as user and/or administrator), ideally experience with CRM analytics and "Einstein"
  • Experience in interdisciplinary (project) teams, e.g. in the introduction/roll-out of digital tools or platforms
  • Good knowledge of process management and analytics
  • Ability to prepare and convey information in a way that is appropriate for the target group
  • Structured and precise as well as proactive and result-oriented way of working
  • Fluent English, German an advantage
