Exyte is currently seeking a qualified Lead Electrical Engineer to play a crucial role in supporting the establishment of a new business branch in Austria. In this role, the candidate will focus on the electrical engineering and package management perspective, ensuring that projects align with the guidelines set by the Austrian trade commission. The candidate will provide essential oversight to guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements and contribute to the successful development of a new center of digital excellence in collaboration with top-tier US tech brands. This approach aims to secure a decisive competitive advantage for the Austrian construction market.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

Participating in multi-disciplinary project teams and assuming leadership responsibilities as required

Creating efficient and trustworthy work relationships with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers and ensuring confidentiality across all communication channels

Project planning for the implementation of electrical services, carrying out site surveys and support the preparation of estimates (i.e. bill of quantities)

Developing electrical service designs that align with user requirements, budget constrains, legislation and time scales

Leading the electrical design efforts and ensuring compliance with local code. Managing stakeholder groups involved in localization and code compliance

Preparing and coordinating the creation of P&IDs and Electrical wiring diagrams (schematics) based on internal QM specifications

Supporting with the preparation of health and safety method statements and risk assessments for construction work in compliance with current regulations

Show your expertise

A degree in Electrical Engineering from an Austrian University or equivalent educational institution
Successful completion and certificate of the “Befähigungsprüfung”
Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering and planning
Proficiency in specialized designs and calculations, such as HV/MV, Low Voltage, Building Management Systems (i.e. BMS, EPMS), IT and Security systems
Profound understanding of safety, health and environmental regulations
Design calculations software and computer aided design know-how
Good communication skills in English and German
Willingness to travel (valid driving license required)
