Service Manager for Business Applications (m/f/d)

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager for Business Applications (m/f/d) to join our great team. As a Service Manager for Business Applications (m/f/d), you will play a key role in owning, implementing and managing solutions within the business application domain. Your primary focus will be on continuously discovering, managing, optimizing, automating, protecting, and governing solution adoption to drive maximum business returns while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Represent the primary technical representative for one or more services within the business application domain such as DocuSign, SharePoint, Jira, Webshop platforms, Websites, and Microsoft Power BI across the organization,
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business application  services under management, including their components, dependencies, and interactions within the broader IT landscape
  • Participate in negotiating Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) for Non-SAP services, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT capabilities
  • Continuously evaluate service delivery processes and practices to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practice
  • Collaborate with the service owner to identify and prioritize service improvement opportunities, leveraging insights from both internal and external stakeholders to enhance service quality and efficiency
  • Provide input to the Continual Service Improvement process, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery processes, technologies, and capabilities within the Non-SAP domain.

Show your expertise

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in business application technology implementation and supporting non-SAP applications and technologies
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in business application  service delivery, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
  • Working knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft 365, Microsoft Power BI
  • Knowledge of Applications such as Oracle Primavera, Oracle Primavera Cloud – LPS Module, Ecosys PPM,  RIB Candy
  • Experience of standard IT Operations frameworks such as ITIL 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in English, German language skills preferred
