As a Senior Plant Utility Engineer Sanitary, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of challenging projects for pharmaceutical production facilities and laboratory buildings. Your expertise in mechanical engineering, particularly in sanitary and sprinkler systems - with additional knowledge in heating, cooling, and steam systems as an advantage - will be instrumental in leading the design and construction of these systems. You will be a connection between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and successful project completion.

Lead the design and construction of utility systems for industrial facilities, with the primary focus on sanitary and sprinkler systems. Familiarity with heating, cooling, steam, systems will be considered as an advantage. Ensure all projects adhere to industry and regulatory standards.

Prepare design documentation, including feasibility study, concept, basic and detail design.

Collaborate with clients and interdisciplinary teams to ensure technical specifications and project goals are met.

Oversee external planning partners and manage project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, including negotiations with suppliers.

Supervise the construction phase to ensure all systems are implemented as designed.
Show your expertise
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of building services, power generation engineering or thermomechanical engineering or training as a technician with a focus on heating, cooling, steam, sanitary and sprinkler systems with several years of professional experience.
- Several of experience in the design and construction of complex plant utility systems, preferably in pharmaceutical and life science plants.
- Project experience in Germany is highly preferred.
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Proficient in CAD and MS Office, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel and work within multidisciplinary teams.
