As an Proposal Specialist (m/f/d) you are responsible for submitting and managing all bids related to the Biopharma & Life Sciences (BLS) division of the business. You will play a crucial role in the proposal preparation process and help ensure that our customers can rely on our customized solutions.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and Exyte’s strategic objectives

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and business development professionals, to gather technical content, project data, and pricing information

• Create high-quality, customized proposal documents, including executive summaries, technical narratives, pricing proposals, and presentations

• Review and interpret client RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFQs (Requests for Quotation), ensuring Exyte’s responses meet or exceed client expectations

• Manage the proposal schedule, ensuring all deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality

• Organize and participate in response-related meetings, as appropriate

• Proof and edit response documents for consistency using applicable guidelines and templates

• Prepare and maintain sales qualification materials and supporting information in designated information

Show your expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• experience in proposal development or project coordination, preferably in the engineering, construction, or high-tech industries

• Knowledge and/or working experience in a manufacturing or project-based engineering and construction environment would be an advantage

• Strong capability in Microsoft Office suite and proficient use of database applications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English

• Highly structured, systematic, focused on detail, and organized
