Manager Architecture m/f/d) for BioPharma Projects

As a strong communicator, you will lead the planning and design of complex industrial plants for our customers. As part of your day-to-day work, you will be involved in various projects - both small and large - for the pharmaceutical biotechnology and life science industries as part of a highly committed team of professionals. 

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • You lead a group of 4 to max. 10 employees professionally and disciplinary

  • Overall planning, control and coordination of technical, functional architectural solutions, from planning, approval planning, contract award and construction through to commissioning 

  • Developing architectural concepts and solutions, working closely and interdisciplinarily with specialist disciplines and coordinating project interfaces 

  • Tendering, awarding and invoicing of construction services within the area of responsibility, including documentation preparation/handover 

  • Collaboration in scheduling, cost planning and quality control  

  • Active communication of all project issues to the stakeholders in the relevant project area 

  • Collaboration in an interdisciplinary team for the design and implementation of customer requirements, supporting activities in technical clarification with cross-discipline departments 

Show your expertise

  • Degree in architecture, ideally with specialisation in clean room and interior design

  • If possible, several years of professional experience in the planning of (large-scale) projects and construction (HOAI-LPH 1-8), ideally project experience in industrial/building construction 

  • Good knowledge of building and planning law, the recognised rules of technology as well as BGB, HOAI, VOB etc. 

  • Experience in plant project planning in the pharmaceutical and life science sector is an advantage

  • Experience in the preparation of tenders, evaluation and support of tenders, from technical readiness for award of contract to participation in award of contract 

  • Knowledge of standard market software (Office) and CAD applications (AutoCad, Revit) ideally also in 3D modelling for the creation of BIM models  

  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills 

  • Project-related willingness to travel
