We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to join our team! You will be responsible for advising and supporting all of Exyte’s internal clients (Global and Regional Business Units, Operations and Finance Functions) on all legal aspects that are relevant for their day to day work, including drafting and revising client contracts, subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements and providing advice in commercial, administrative and corporate law aspects. In this position you will provide support to our business development and project execution teams in the Continental Europe (COE) Region and support Corporate initiatives in the headquarters.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate Client contracts for the COE Region
  • Review and negotiate Subcontracts for the COE Region
  • Support the Legal team in all global initiatives and corporate law matters in the headquarter in Stuttgart
  • Liaise with external legal counsel for any advice required, including legal disputes with clients or subcontractors
  • Provide support for Exyte’s Project Team in day to day project execution, including support with Change Order and Claim Management, Defects Liability and Regulatory Matters
  • Provide trainings on contract law and legal matters to the various stakeholders (Sales Teams, Project Teams, Procurement Teams)
  • Draft, update and administer templates
  • Support the Legal Team’s Corporate Law and M&A activities
  • Review standard documents like NDA’s, Bank Bonds, etc.

Show your expertise

  • Fully qualified law degree with exceptionally good results or equivalent is required
  • Multiple years of relevant experience in a comparable function or as lawyer in a reputable top tier law firm
  • Profound experience in commercial construction law preferred, but not mandatory
  • Experience in international, cross-border projects preferred
  • Fluent in English and German language – additional languages welcome
  • Profound IT skills
  • Good communication skills
