Are you passionate about sourcing and ready to join our team to actively support our fast-growing business? We are looking for a Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) who is responsible for dedicated complex and high value work packages from RFx to the placement of contract in a highly team-oriented organization cooperating with interdisciplinary interfaces and stakeholders like Engineering, Project and Commercial Management, Scheduling, Legal and Construction Management.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Manage existing supplier base, identify new suppliers, and perform the pre-qualification process to ensure suppliers meet Exyte's procurement standards
• Lead the RFP process including the compilation of the requirements documentation, internal alignment to ensure a common understanding of scope, submission to the selected supplier panel, close monitoring, and guidance of suppliers for timely and high-quality returns 
• Prepare initial commercial bid evaluation and liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to gain an understanding of the overall compliance with the RFP requirements and competitiveness of the suppliers to jointly derive a shortlist
• Lead and actively drive the contract clarification and negotiation process in accordance with the project schedule involving suppliers as well as internal and external stakeholders 
• Prepare final commercial bid evaluation, liaise with relevant internal stakeholders, and present the recommendation to award to gain internal and external stakeholders’ approval
• Coordinate Purchase order placement and ensure transition of sourcing knowledge and information to post award Procurement and Subcontracting team

Show your expertise

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration or engineering
• You have an advanced experience in large scale construction and engineering projects
• You have purchasing experience in technical plant engineering - ideally in the field of semiconductors/battery production/pharmaceuticals
• You have a high level of commercial awareness to serve as your compass to guide your day-to-day work
• You have a fluent level in spoken and written German (at least B2) and good knowledge of English
• You are experienced in working with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and SAP (benefit)
