As our new Expert Data Governance (m/f/d) you will be part of our compliance team and will help shape the development of a company-wide data strategy and data governance. Thus, you will significantly support the goal of creating transparency on our data and improving data quality.

You will create frameworks for generated and acquired data and work together with different stakeholders in our global company to implement policies, standards and best practices.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Organize, implement and administer global data governance management systems and develop data strategies
• Create, roll out and further develop principles and guidelines for handling data
• Define and instantiate roles and responsibilities for the long-term use of data
• Consult and train data owners and stake holders in establishing and implementing data governance management systems and complying with the corporate data governance
• Consult Data Owners in developing data governance strategies, which comply with the corporate data governance
• Review compliance of changes to processes and suggest changes
• Train Data Owners and other stake holders in regard to their duties and the corporate governance management system as well as promote governance and management systems
• Review and follow-up implementation and compliance with the data management system

Show your expertise

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Data Science or similar fields
• Extensive operational experience in data governance and data management
• Very good knowledge of common process management and data governance
• Project management skills, ownership, and the ability to drive initiatives independently
• Qualifications in project management, process management and improvement of business processes are an advantage
• Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate complex issues effectively to diverse stakeholders
• Very good written and spoken level of English, good German skills are an advantage
