IT Demand Manager Procurement & Subcontract Management (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced Demand Manager Procurement and Subcontract Management (m/f/d) to join our great team. The primary responsibility involves acting as liaison between the IT teams and the PSM department, managing all PSM-related IT demands, from initial requirement gathering to demand acceptance. 

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Analyze and forecast demands for IT solutions for the Procurement and Subcontract Management department (PSM), collaborating with stakeholders to understand current and future needs, and developing comprehensive demand plans, proactively driving consolidation, standardization and harmonization of the PSM application portfolio
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders of the PSM Function to gather and document their IT demands, translating them into clear requirements.
• Oversee the portfolio of IT projects and services relevant for the PSM function, prioritizing projects based on strategic objectives and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Support the whole Demand Management team to improve the demand management approach and make significant adjustments (if required)

Show your expertise

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Procurement/Purchasing or equivalent
• Experience as a Demand Manager in an international and fast-paced environment, with the ability to interact with senior management with solid knowledge of Procurement & Subcontract Management (PSM) processes, particularly with EPC/AEC companies
• Knowledge of Procurement & Subcontract Mgmt (PSM) processes, particularly with engineering and construction companies. Knowledge of Demand Management and ITIL processes is helpful
• Ability to translate PSM requirements into IT specifications for successful project execution
• Experience in implementing and managing Procurement/Purchasing applications, ideally SAP's suite of tools (S/4HANA, Ariba)
• Excellent communication, analytical and planning skills
• Proficiency in English expected, German language skills desirable
