We are looking for an experienced Demand Manager for Commercial Project Management (m/f/d) to join our great team. The primary responsibility involves acting as liaison between the IT teams and the CPM department, managing all CPM-related IT demands, from initial requirement gathering to demand acceptance. 

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Analyze and forecast demands for IT solutions for the Commercial Project Management Department (CPM), collaborating with stakeholders to understand current and future needs, and developing comprehensive demand plans, proactively driving consolidation, standardization and harmonization of the CPM application portfolio
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders of the CPM Function to gather and document their IT demands, translating them into clear requirements
• Coordinate demands through the demand management process, ensuring alignment with overall IT strategy
• Oversee the portfolio of IT projects and services relevant for the CPM function, prioritizing projects based on strategic objectives and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Develop appropriate reporting concerning the CPM Demand Portfolio, ensuring transparency and accountability in demand management processes
• Support the whole Demand Management team to improve the demand management approach and make significant adjustments (if required)

Show your expertise

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Construction or equivalent
• Experience as a Demand Manager in an international and fast-paced environment, with the ability to interact with senior management with strong knowledge of Procurement & Subcontract Management (PSM) processes, particularly with EPC/AEC companies
• Experience in implementing and governing CPM applications, ideally SAP's suite of modules like PPS, EPPM, CPM, and Primavera P6
• Excellent communication, analytical and planning skills
• Knowledge of Demand Management and ITIL processes is helpful
• Proficiency in English expected, German language skills desirable
