As our new (Senior) Specialist Data Protection (m/f/d), you will become part of Exyte’s Corporate Data Protection Team in the Compliance Department. You will be reporting directly to the Data Protection Officer and will help shaping the way we keep personal data safe.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Creating and implementing processes and policies to manage data protection
  • Administering the register of processing activities and reviewing data processing agreements
  • Collaborating with and coordinating our regional and local Data Protection Coordinators
  • Draft and organize data protection information and corresponding consents
  • Handle data subject (access) requests and provide trainings on data protection matters
  • Support in performing data impact assessments
  • Support of audit and review in effectivity of technical and organizational measures, such as data retention and deletion activities

Show your expertise

  • Degree in Law, Business Administration, IT or similar fields
  • Qualification in data protection with a focus on the general data protection regulation
  • First experiences in data protection and organizing processes in an international company
  • Qualifications in ISO 27001, ISO 27701 or Data Protection Certificates (e.g. CIPP/E, BSI or TUEV) are an advantage
  • highly structured, systematic, and organized way of working
  • advanced organizational skills and a general understanding and interest in IT Systems
  • Ownership and the ability to drive initiatives independently
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate complex issues effectively to diverse stakeholders
  • Very good written and spoken level of English, good German skills an advantage
