Reporting on a day-to-day basis to Senior Management and Business Unit,  the successful candidate will provide a professional and proactive support activity to the particular team team. The successful candidate will need to be results driven with a commitment to achieve tight deadlines and have a positive and flexible attitude

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the compilation of submission documents in accordance with the company’s procedures and standards ensuring a consistent high quality of information

  • Working with the Team and co-ordinate with the other relevant teams during the submission process to gather the necessary information for the submission documents

  • Manage the production process to ensure enough support and resources are available to complete the submissions within the given time frame

  • Assisting particular team with secretarial and organisational duties such as arranging meetings, appointments, etc

  • Assist the Senior Team in maintaining day-to-day department data and the production of monthly reports

  • Attendance on stand at trade shows and events in association with Sales/BD team as may be required

  • Contribute to the Team by attending as and when required regular team meetings taking notes and producing minutes

  • Provide a professional and high quality service in accordance with the Company’s Quality Assurance procedures to ensure a continuing improvement in the service provided to the company’s clients.

  • Assist in the maintenance of the CRM database by inputting data as and when required

  • Compiling CV’s into the correct company format for tender submissions

  • Any other ad hoc duties as required

Essential

  • A confident, dynamic team player with strong relationship and collaboration skills capable of delivering solution focused results

  • Demonstrable organisational abilities with accurate and organised methods of working

  • IT literate with high level abilities in, and other main stream software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint etc (to be tested on interview)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in dealing with tender documentation and database management

  • Driven to deliver quality results, under pressure, on their own initiative and a proactive “can-do” attitude

  • Confident individual with the ability to manage multiple projects within very tight deadlines, give direction and organise workload for themselves and others

  • Previous general administration experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role

  • Good general level of education

 

Highly Desirable (but not essential)

  • Business Development qualification or equivalent

  • Ideally have knowledge and experience of commercial marketing

  • Working knowledge of Desktop publishing software

  • Possess a current driving licence

  • Supervisory experience
