Expert Project Subcontracting Management (m/f/d)

Do you have a passion for procurement and procurement contract management and are you ready to join our team and actively support our fast-growing company? We are looking for a Subcontract Management expert who is willing to take responsibility for assigned complex and technically demanding work packages from contract award to project completion. In this role, you will be a critical part of a highly team-oriented organization working with interdisciplinary interfaces to functional areas such as engineering, project and commercial management, scheduling, legal and construction management.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Monitoring and progress control of subcontractor performance
• Commercial processing of subcontractor claims
• Supplement and change management to/from subcontractors
• Claim management in close coordination with contract management
• Minimization of risks that may arise due to delays on the part of subcontractors
• Negotiating the conclusion of contracts
• Close cooperation with engineering, design, quality, scheduling and project management
• Continuous improvement management through regular feedback, e.g. lessons learned
• Regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager

Show your expertise

• You have a degree in economics or engineering 
• You are very familiar with electrical systems (MV, LV, I&C) and can communicate with suppliers from these areas on an equal level
• You have several years of professional and project experience from large construction and engineering projects
• You have a high level of commercial and technical expertise
• You are experienced in using MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and SAP (an advantage) and have a good command of written and spoken German and English (at least level B2)
• You are flexible and willing to travel - also for longer assignments on our construction sites within Germany
• You are ready to act, deliver results and collaborate across the company
• You actively make decisions and take responsibility for the decisions you make
• You are open to working on projects and welcome change as an opportunity for development
• You drive your own development and encourage others to explore opportunities beyond their comfort zone
