This position is for Exyte’s ATF Semiconductor Tool Install Engineering Group. This position will be responsible for electrical design of tool install design packages. Responsibilities include but are not limited to picking up review comments, calculating voltage drop, wire sizes, conduit / raceway size, and sizing circuit breakers. Candidates should be highly organized and detail oriented, have excellent time management skills with a strong work ethic. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Must be a strong team player with an ability to build effective working relationships with individuals, department leads, and client representatives. Candidates should be energetic and self motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ability to resolve conflict and solve problems which leading by example. Candidates must be highly proficient in AutoCad, be familiar with NEC electrical requirements, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Basic understanding of Bluebeam is a plus. Semi-conductor experience is preferred but not required.

This is a hybrid position with the candidate working 3 days a week at our Chandler, AZ location and 2 days a week from home.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Assists in developing electrical documents using architectural background layouts and system performance requirements defined by the project team including the architect, engineer and project manager
  • Assists in pre-design project activities, such as site assessment, site plan review, and verification of as built conditions
  • Assists project team to find optimum system sizing, routing, materials, and space management for equipment and electrical distribution systems
  • Assists senior staff with services during construction, including responding to RFIs, shop drawing and submittal review, and as-built drawings
  • Coordinates with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering/ internal and external)
  • Assists in developing projects in compliance with engineering codes, standards, principles, relevant specifications and contractual requirements
  • Assists in the production of construction documents under the supervision of a Professional Engineer and coordinate with other disciplines
  • Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
  • Mentor interns and junior members of project teams
  • Assists in development of construction drawings, specifications, details, schedules and diagrams for electrical and lighting systems
  • Assists in performing quality control reviews of work developed by others
  • Other duties as assigned
