The Project Manager - TFS located in Boise, ID is responsible for managing and administering construction project activities related to mechanical, electrical, and process piping. The Project Manager - TFS is responsible for ensuring all functions are completed correctly and in a timely manner. In addition, this person is the primary TFS customer representative so a strong, customer service mindset is essential.

  • Responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, ensuring that safe work systems are implemented as part of your job and for receiving IFW training
  • Supports the creation and maintenance of an Incident and Injury Free Workplace
  • Works collaboratively and utilizes EHS staff as a resource for strategic and tactical implementation of SHE processes and procedures
  • Promotes positive public and community relations, with assistance from the Marketing/Business Development Department
  • Supports Business Development Activities as required and in coordination with Marketing/Business Development Department
  • Independent management of projects including daily activities, staffing, P&L, cash flow and reporting functions
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the Company/Owner contract and all project correspondence and documentation
  • Develops and maintains continuous positive relationships with the GC/CM, Owner, and their assigned representatives
  • Actively participates in the estimating handover meeting for each new project
  • Leads the Project Kick-off Meeting and subsequent project planning meetings with the project resources
  • Responsible for accurately informing the Regional Manager - TFS of a project’s overall status, with regard to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and client relationship
  • Responsible for establishing and updating project forecasts and leading PSR reviews
  • In coordination with the Regional Manager - TFS and Procurement, executes appropriate agreements with each supplier or subcontractor
  • Promotes positive Staff morale and resolves conflicts as required
  • Establishes and maintains scheduling, earned value, and labor analysis activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Evaluates potential risk, establishes a risk register, implements mitigation plans, and monitors / manages on a regular basis
  • Attends monthly project status review (PSR) meetings with the Regional Manager - TFS, and Finance
  • Other duties as assigned

Show your expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred 
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Experience working on construction projects (preferably Semiconductor and/or Pharmaceutical facility projects)
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • Good knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and project accounting principles
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
  • Ability to implement Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Ability to implement LEAN to support the project
