The Expert Recruiting (Campus & Early Careers) will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies, managing the internship and early careers programs, and fostering relationships with academic institutions to build a robust pipeline of early career talent.
This role involves strategic collaboration with department heads and senior management to understand hiring needs, develop targeted recruitment plans, and manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, consultative, and results-driven problem solver with a proven track record of successful recruitment in the engineering/procurement/construction industry.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Campus Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive campus recruitment strategy aligned with the company's talent needs, ensuring a strong presence at targeted universities.
- Full Lifecycle Recruitment: Manage all stages of the recruitment lifecycle including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with university career services, student organizations, and faculty to enhance the company’s visibility and attractiveness to students. Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, HR partners, and vendors to ensure a successful and credible recruitment process.
- Internship Program Management: Enhance the design, implementation, and evaluation of the internship program, ensuring a valuable experience for interns and alignment with organizational goals.
- Graduate Trainee Program Development: Help to design, launch, and drive a graduate trainee program, including curriculum development, mentorship pairing, and performance assessment.
- Events and Engagement: Plan and coordinate campus recruitment events, workshops, and career fairs to promote the company's employment opportunities and brand.
- Talent Pipeline Development: Identify and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including networking events, on-campus recruitment, and online platforms.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on program effectiveness, candidate quality, and areas for improvement.
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure alignment between recruitment efforts and workforce planning.
- Talent Acquisition Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of the Talent Acquisition team’s processes by engaging in continuous learning and mentoring team members.
- Special Projects: Drive and manage special projects by collaborating across the organization and ensuring successful outcomes.
- DE&I & Compliance: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and ensure compliance with Affirmative Action recruiting requirements. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all recruiting activities.

Minimum Required
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum 7 years’ talent acquisition experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum 5 years’ talent acquisition experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.) required. Intermediate Excel skills preferred
- Multi-state recruiting experience required
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and candidate sourcing platforms required
- Natural talent in stakeholder management, building professional relationships and influencing stakeholders, demonstrated courage in the face of adversity
Preferred
- Work experience in a dynamic, medium-to-large corporate environment preferred
- Experience recruiting in the Engineering/Construction industry strongly preferred
