The Procurement Expert is responsible for the development, execution, and administration of the procurement plan. Will work with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Design Manager to develop a procurement plan to meet project and business objectives; including but not limited to: cost, timing, and quality. Will also be responsible for driving the procurement activity from supplier identification, rf(x) development and administration, and source to pay function.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Designs and administers the procurement plan from supplier identification, through rfp solicitation, sourcing, contract negotiation, and P.O. creation
• Responsible for the overall development of the procurement plan
• Pre-qualifies suppliers and subcontractors
• Complies with all applicable processes and procedures 
• Closes coordination with peers in construction, engineering, and project management
• Resolves disputes among Exyte related groups and suppliers
• Negotiates terms and conditions with supplier and subcontractors to minimize risk impacts

Show your expertise

• 5+ years of Procurement / Sourcing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related required
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
• Apics Certification preferred
• Experience working in Procurement in manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, high tech or construction environment
• Experience working in projects in a construction / project environment preferred
• Project management experience is desirable
