The Planner is responsible for the effective execution and management of the end-to-end integrated schedule development, coordination, monitoring, control and reporting process throughout the life cycle of projects. Enables project teams to target competitive schedule solutions and provide critical input for the project change and risk management process.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement acceptable planning and scheduling techniques and methods.
  • Assist in the develop and integrate a robust Work, Cost and Organizational Breakdown Structure and Project Control Structures, in accordance with templates and company procedures.
  • Maintain and progress the overall resource loaded schedules in Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Ensure that all schedules are fully integrated, coded and resource-loaded in order to ensure the accuracy of projected resourcing and staffing requirements. 
  • Support the preparation of schedule progress reports, trending charts or dashboards, and schedule analysis and status on KPIs performance.
  • Organize and participate in the weekly and monthly Project Reviews, Planning and Performance meetings.
  • Develop of phasing presentations, 4D Planning, Takt Charts, and other visual techniques to communicate project phasing, constraints and opportunities to all stakeholders.
  • Liaise and work together with Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Transport and Logistics, BIM and Financial teams and any other external stakeholders.
  • Work extensively with subcontractors ensuring schedule requirement compliance, accurate and timely updates, slippage recovery, etc.

Show your expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil/Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
  • +3 years’ experience in Planning, Scheduling, or Control in EPC environments.
  • Competency with CPM scheduling software Oracle Primavera P6 is preferred.
  • Proficient in the MS Office 365 and willing to explore and develop skills in Power BI and Power Automate.
  • Strong awareness of the level of interaction required with the key stakeholders’ teams to support the successful delivery of projects.
  • Fluent in English and French; good command of technical terms.
  • Ability to work in multicultural teams and stakeholders remotely and on-site.
  • Resilient to coping with conflicting demands, able to prioritize duties and work under pressure.
  • Good organizational skills, including the ability to organize the work of a team to meet agreed deadlines; ability to work independently or as part of a team, to agreed deadlines.
